Human Resource Manager

The Human Resource Manager works closely with management in supporting several production, retail, administrative and warehouse locations. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, compliance, safety, benefits and payroll.
Responsibilities
Understands and maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Handle and document employee relations issues such as complaints, allegations, and conducting investigations.
Negotiates benefit contracts, coordinates annual benefits enrollment for group health, dental, vision, 401K, and flexible spending benefits.
Actively manage OSHA reporting logs, workers' compensation claims; communicate with carriers and injured workers.
Handles executive and salary payrolls.
Administers FMLA/LOA.
Qualifications
Human Resource Degree Preferred or comparable experience.
Professional HR Certification (PHR) preferred.
Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.
Must be able to manage time and prioritize work effectively.
Must have sound critical thinking and reasonable decision making abilities.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle access to sensitive information.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
