Energy & Transportation Sales Coordinator

In accordance with management directives, this position coordinates the processing of all documentation relating to the sale and delivery of all equipment for the Energy & Transportation (E&T) to ensure that all customer and company requirements are met.
Essential Functions:
This position mandates that the employee be able to perform all of the following functions:
Coordinate and process all aspects of new product sales to meet unique specifications of each customer
Review and administer Caterpillar DBSi procedures and guidelines
Maintain spreadsheets relating to various functions within the E&T Division
Handle all processes related to filing credit claims to Caterpillar in conjunction with the Engine Merchandising Plan
Review and approve all E&T sales invoices and allocate costs appropriately prior to payment by accounting
Oversee inventory maintenance control program
Other functions as assigned by necessity
Summary of Duties:
This position may perform any combination of the following duties:
Provide administrative support within E&T throughout the sales process, including initiation of customer orders, submission of credit requests to Finance, ordering engines/generators through ISA, CSQ and DBSi, costing the job and calculating gross profit for invoicing
"Score" sales with Caterpillar
Provide warranty group with required information
Purchase ESC if applicable through an on-line enrollment of new sales
Provide technical administrator and sales force with information on new sales service work at sales and dealer order inquiry reports, order engines and generators, determine and enter sales used to measure and review E&T inventory, discount/credit claims, sales/gross profit, sales leads, EPA engines, joint ventures, etc
Calculate and submit credit claims to Caterpillar for programs currently in effect
Participate in Caterpillar audit
Confirm receipt of all ordered equipment
Sales files, supervise receipt of inventory into stock
Participate in inventory reconciliation
Report LIFO/FIFO project information to accounting for tax purposes
Report warranty information to Murrysville, close out sales files
Perform other duties as required
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Comprehensive understanding of the practices, policies and procedures of the E&T Division relating to equipment sales
Implementing actions to assist in attaining the divisional goals
Working knowledge of engines, generators and related attachments
Experience in a sales environment
Strong analytical abilities to interpret technical information
Excellent communication and organization skills to perform in an environment of varying levels of complexity and priorities
Solid working skills in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, DBSi, Lotus Notes or similar packages in a Windows based environment
Understanding and application of accounting principles
Background Training and Experience:
Associate degree in Business Management or a business related field with a minimum of three years' progressive experience in office administration management or an equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable to the company.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
