SHOP TECHNICIAN - BREAKER ELECTROMECHANICAL ASSEMBLY

Please note this is a contract position only.

  • Operational knowledge of machine tools, fabrication equipment, overhead crane, or other service equipment supporting the assembly, manufacture, or repair of nuclear equipment.

  • Disassemble, degrease, clean, inspect, install, repair, and assemble basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and manufactured components.

  • Comprehend basic fundamentals of mechanical parts and equipment, and/or machine metal work pieces, tools or parts.

  • Comprehend basic mechanical and/or electrical drawings, codes, schematics, manuals, blueprints and procedures, and record data in the required form.

  • Verify basic dimensions with measuring instruments and/or analyze specifications and determine tooling by applying knowledge of metal properties, machining technique, and mathematics.

  • Install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, or connectors.


? Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified.
? Maintain system logs or manuals to document assembly, testing, or operation of equipment.
? Learn, understand, and practice the appropriate quality, health, and safety procedures applicable to each work assignment.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
